I feel sorry for everybody in the US. 50% of them were dumb enough  to
bring it on
themselves. They have no idea what they just did. Perhaps  they will figure
it out in
the next four years.

IMHO the next 4 years will be a disaster. Grid lock (as it should
be.) and 20 trillion dollars in US debt. I am not sure the US will  ever
recover.

I am very old and it will not affect me much one way or the other  but a
wonderful
country to live in has just been destroyed. Private aviation  is finished
as the
price of fuel will not come down. The finest  health care in the world will
be
decimated. We are now well on the  way to becoming a third world nation.

This fight is not over.  We're not staring at the 2nd of 4 terms by FDR
before he
plunged us into WWII.  We're not yet on the verge of civil war.  It seems a
little
premature to be giving up on the republic.

Keep your sleeves rolled up and keep working.  It's the right thing to do.

Maybe these next 4 years will create enough discomfort in the lives of those
who
chose poorly to wake them up.

I agree. Never give up. There is another election in two years.

The republican party needs to divorce the social issues like
abortion. Single women are stubborn and pig headed. Don't look for logic and reason in single women. I know. I have a lot
of experience with all categories of women :).

We did not lose by much. Mainly single women and minorities. The minorities are in  worse economic shape than white people. They are subject to logic and reason on the economy unlike single women.

The largest single voting block- i.e. the group that voted overwhelmingly for Hitler- was single women. No, I'm not calling Obama Hitler, I'm just saying that the most easily swayed by the rhetoric is single women.
