Kevin,
This is Mike Hart's turbo installation in his Kis Cruiser.
The top of the cowl is even lower than that of your Wheeler so
it was necessary to put a "power bulge" on the top of the Kis
cowl.
The inter-cooling plumbing is unique in that one header tank on the
inter-cooler does double duty and is used as an intake manifold plenum.
The traditional way of doing it was is use two header tanks on the
inter-cooler and two transitions to round pipe. Then another transition
to the intake plenum.
Each transition implies a pressure loss so this system is more
efficient. Less back pressure for the same net boost.
You will need a ram air scoop on the top of the cowl to feed cooling
air to the inter-cooler.

Paul,
Is this the KIS that you were working on?
Where is it now?
Bill Schertz
Yes. Somewhere in Oklahoma I think. Michel Hart owns it now.
I sold it when Mike Will's RV4 became available.
I am real proud of the trick combo nose gear and rear motor mount
bracket:) The load path from the nose gear goes directly into the rear
of the engine.
