The water manometer in the cockpit was used to trouble shoot the Rotec
low pressure slide throttle carb. The Rotec is a copy of the Ellison.

The end housing are two piece with an aluminium water jacket and cast iron
wear surfaces.

Richard is experimenting with light weight rotors that weigh 2.5 pounds
less
than stock and that have no oil seals.

There will be a movie shortly so you can hear what a one rotor sounds
like.

What RPM is that and is that with the cut down rotors ? Seriously cool.

The engine with the light rotor was only running on the test stand. It was
running without smoke over 4500 RPM. I did not observe any difference from
the stock rotor.

The run shown in the video clip was at 5400RPM. This engine with stock
rotor.

I think when you run the motor on the test stand for awhile the smoke
will stop at lower RPM's as well providing the pressure in the crankcase is
close to atmospheric or below.
