Mazda has gone from a world class racing organization to
running a Mazda 6 in a 3rd class no car enthusiast cares about.
Back of the pack. The fast prototype drivers say they are too slow
and as such are a hazard.
IMHO they are wasting money they could have put in a
turbo compound rotary powered RX8 that would run up front in
the GT class and beat the pistons on fuel mileage.
Apparently Mazda management has been taken over by politically correct
water melons :)

We do have one 3 rotor RX8 in the GT class that will probably finish
fairly well as many of the cars ahead of it now will drop out.
