I bought a new notebook and it had windows 8 on it
if you buy it it will piss you off big time
microshit wants to totally control you.

I was so pissed I thought of suing Fry's.

Fortunately I will take the drive out and replace
it with a blank drive and install Mint.

That’s what I did just last night.  Mint runs well on the new equipment.

I am just installing Mint with Mate now on a Lenova G580.
It is a bit tricky as the BIOS really wants to install
Windows 8. I had to live boot Mint off a USB DVD
and then install it on a 16G USB stick.

I did not want to use the HD in case I needed
to take it back to Frys and shove it up their #$#$%  :)

If it all goes well I will put it on the HD.
