In the interest of building the absolute lightest 13B based engine, I am trying to answer a few questions:

1. Anyone actually build a 13B keg that weighs 109 pounds?

2. Where is the best source for the aluminum housings? I have only been able to find the (expensive) ones from Racing Beat.

3. What else besides the Al housings goes into the 109lb. keg? I imagine lightened rotors, corrugated coolant passages
and possibly lightened e-shaft.

4. Lightweight starter source?

Thanks,

A. Mullen

Mazdatrix.

Racing Beat.

Richard Sohn is working on the front
and back housings.

Mazdatrix and Jeff were working on titan rotors
but I am not sure of the status.
