Hi Paul, here are 2 pics of the top of the motor, and 1 pic to compare the size of the rotary vs the soob, sorry it took
 time i just moved into a new hangar,

 Take another photo of this area perpendicular to the machined surface.

 As far as I can tell you have a unique RX8 end housing. It looks like
 a 13B end housing but it appears to have a missing taped hole.

 The idea here is to use a 13B top mount bracket which I am building
 several of. We may have to find enough meat in the end housing to drill
 and tap the missing hole.
