This assumes a cowl came your with aircraft  kit.
If the cowl is in two pieces top and bottom your in luck.
Get a motor plate from Jeff. Mount the engine and gear box to the
motor plate.  See the bottom of front page on http://www.rotaryeng.net.

It will provide an aerospace quality  professional look to your engine installation.

Get the rubber bushings from McMaster Carr

The Barry Controls  Part number is 26833-1

MCMaster calls them " Versa-Mount Vibration-Damping Mounts"
soft <http://www.mcmaster.com/#6309K34>    $8.30

Hang the rubber bushing holders off the rubber mounts with a 2 3/4 inch long 1/2 inch socket head Bolt.

Support the engine in the correct position.  Use a play wood box or saw horses
or what have you.

Use the top of the cowl to correctly position the prop flange in the cowl hole.

Buy a set of Rod end clips for attaching rod ends to the firewall. Drill them for the proper bolt sizes. Mount them in the existing hard points on the fire wall.
See the bottom of front page on http://www.rotaryeng.net.

Use a tape measure to find the distance between the attaching holes for the six tubes that make up a motor mount. Subtract 3 inches and that is the length of tube you need.

The two lower outer tubes are one inch square .049 wall and do not need a rod
end on the rubber bushing holder end. Subtract only one inch.

Order the tubing and cut it to length. Weld on the  7/16 rod end adapters .

Buy the rod ends and the high angle rod end spacers and you are almost done.

Use AN bolts the correct length so bolt threads do not chew up the steel clips and rubber bushing holders. They are also the correct diameter to the nearest one thousands of a inch.
Hardware store bolts are not always. Usually the diameter is all over the lot.
AN bolts are also closely controlled for good strength.

Assemble the mount and your done.
