Hi Paul,

Just wondering if there has been an update on Richard Sohn's single
rotary 12A.. Last I've read was that he has done some fast taxiing
work but no first flight.. Just looking for more info.. There hasn't
been any updates on his web site either.

I saw one for sale on barnstormers a couple of days ago- advertised as 70 HP

That is probably not a P-port. Probably not one of Richards engines.
Richard is getting over 90 HP at only 6000 RPM.

He would get over 120 HP at 7500 RPM with the right length intake
runners and a 2.85:1 gear box.

Interestingly Richard tried both side and P-port and the additional side
port was not worth the trouble.
