I finally got feed p with the Asus K75D with Windoze 8. It kept auto zoom
and doing some other annoying things.  I came to the conclusion that using
Win 8 was like trying to suck lumpy turds from a skunks behind through a
hollowed out thorny rose cane.  I went back to Best Buy to the Geek Squad to
get Win 7 installed.  Explanation that the drivers are specific to Win 8 and
7 could not be installed.  He told me I could put Linx on a thumb drive and
install it when I want to or need to use it.  He did turn off the auto zoom
and a couple of other things and it is now working more like previous
Windoze apps.  One thing that got me was to exit something was not intuitive
to previous.  Grab the top and pull to the bottom.  OK, I may be able to
conquer this yet.

Take the   windoz hate drive HD out and keep it   for warranty purposes.
If you decide the sell the computer you can also put it back in.

Buy a new one TB drive and install Linux Mint with Mate.
It is real easy to do. Takes less than 20 minutes.

In the unlikely event you don' like Linux you can put the windoz hate drive back in.
