                                   new to the group. Shopping for an airframe
to build. could i have your thoughts on a fire wall forward weight,
non-adjustable wood prop, 2 rotor engine, 160hp tractor.

The firewall forward weight is about the same as an Lyc O 360.
It is actually cheaper and easier to build a p-port and you get 250 HP at sea level
and 175 HP at 12,000 feet.

If you started with 160 HP at sea level you would only have 112 HP at 12,000 feet.

The pre punched VANs RV's are the quickest and easiest to build.

If you want a fast, slick composite take a look at Team Tango. They come out of a mold
and the wing is one piece. May be quicker to build than an RV. With 175 HP at 12,000 feet
you are looking at close to 250 MPH ground speed. We have several rotaries being installed
in Tango's.
