As the blow down turbine gear box is hard coupled to the excentric shaft
is there a chance sympathetic vibration could be a problem.? It could
almost instantly destory the gear box
! Perhaps a shear pin or something similar would be
prudent. yours

There is a fluid coupling inside the gear box.
