One thing we liked was the location of starter, it ran aft just under the spark plugs moving the engine CG aft. We may cut up a RX7 AT bellhousing to accommodate such an arrangement. Milo

That is one of the reasons I want to use the 20B/13B rew tt AT bell housings for a CS prop unit. The geared stock AT starter gives more oomph and is mounted much more professionally back along the lower side of the engine. I have one if you want to make me one.....! Now making a mm to match up somewhere is another challenge....

We wondered how that starter fitted? Thanks for the picture. Right now we are up to our ass in alligators just getting the 3.17 box done. Made a big mistake yesterday and had to shitcan about $100 worth of material and 20 hours of labor. We will keep everyone posted as to our progress. Milo
