 Haven't installed it yet.

 The silver gadget lengthens the accelerator pump arm
 to compensate for the leaning block insertion.

 The power valve is also blocked with a supplied plug.

 I plan on using it for the side draft, slide throttle,
 2 barrel carb I am designing for the p-port two rotor.
 I will use the Holley float bowl assembly.

So will you be taking the throttle butterflies out and using the Holley
to provide the mixture control ?
And not being a smart ass but I'm guessing you mean side mount downdraft
carb, right ?

The throttle butterflies do not control the mixture.

I am not using them.
The size of the jets control the mixture.

Not side mount downdraft.
Side draft carbs have horizontal air passages.
Down draft carbs have vertical air passages.
