I have been confronted with the problem of the odd ball
bolt pattern Mazda used on the e-shift flange.
I finally got my rotary table mounted and measured the hole pattern angles.

Mazda did this because the V belt pulley bolted to this flange
marks the  top dead center on rotor one.  If the pattern was symmetrical people
would have a heck of time reassembling the engine  and get the TDC marks
to come out right.

We need this information to machine our new trigger wheels.
