Hi Paul, I'm roughly half way between Russ's and Chris's - just south
of Hamilton. If you and your wife would like a stop over for a day or
3 and do some local flying or just chill out that would be fine.

Maybe we can have a get together at Chris's Hangar, I'll have my
computer with me so we can keep touch.

We fly standby so our schedule is rather uncertain. I'll let
everybody know before we get on a plane to Auckland from Sydney. We
will rent a car in Auckland.

Hi this is up to Paul, but I can pick up Paul & party at Auckland and

Thanks for the offer Russ. We like having a car so we always rent one
except maybe in China.

The wife is a retired UAL B747 mechanic (they liked her as she is
small enough to crawl around inside the wing tanks :)) so we go a lot
of places nearly for free.

Hi Paul, Russ and Chris. I will meet up with you all in Tauranga.
please advise your ETA Tauranga nearer the time. I am away on a AOPA
safari Jan 18th to 24th Jan. The safari is mostly in the upper half
of the North Island so will be able to leave the group for a day or
two to meet up at Chris's hanger in Tauranga.

It will be a week or more before our schedule will be firmed up.
A lot depends on what flight we can get on. I should have email
in Oz so I will let you know from Oz.

We will go see Neal Ungar  in Parkes Oz first.

Neal, please mark one of these maps with your place relative
to central Parkes so we can find you and email it back.

Also suggest a good hotel to stay in Parkes.
