Champions, saw an interview awhile back in which he stated he'd owned
27+ rotary powered vehicles over the years! He keeps another 4 rotor
Rx-7 in Japan, called the JAPBUL. (the one in the linked video is the
MADBUL) He also has a Turbo 3 rotor (812hp 20B) Rx-8 "BADBUL" (which
I've seen IRL). I don't understand why Mazda doesn't flaunt his and
other success like his by others, major fumble on their part.

Rotaries most great benefit is easily stackable. I think if we use
better material for shaft.10 or more rotor can be stacked and still its
very small
and by just common sense if we use ceramic or inconel it can be air
cooling engine. Efficiency easily go over current gasoline engine
I think about crowed funding at kick starter or indiegogo for
making this. I have no intend about get money from it just fun job. So
people may interest in.
As we know 12 rotor rotaries size is 1.5m and it will produce over
2000hp easily. Apache choppers engine just produce 1700 hp but extremely
expensive. If we success I think we can supply this engine on many
aircraft and marine solution

IMHO 5 rotors in line is the limit.

As Paul said 5 rotors are likely max stack practical. Size and weight
start to be a problem especially for mobile use. It would be more
efficient to make larger radius and eccentricity with 70 or 80mm rotor
width. A 5 rotor engine with a firing order of 1-5-2-4-3 would not
require large balance weights. An inline 6 has 1 and six at TDC at the
same time.2and 5, and 3 and 4 also run together. the engine is basically
balanced and runs smoothly. A V12 is basically two I6 engines combined
so is even smoother. A 5 rotor fires like a V10 so should run very
smooth along with strong torque. 80mm width would allow doubling the
spark plugs or installing dual injectors in precombustion chambers with
glow plugs to get the diesel or Jet fuel to ignite. With Paul´s ignition
or the new diesel injectors that fire up to 7 or 8 times per cylinder
firing could produce excellent BSFC. Depending on the eccentricity and
radius dimensions chosen, 1,000 to 1,500HP is possible with lower fuel
burn than a turbine with equivalent TBO´s. Fuel burn at the same power
levels could be 50% to 75% of the turbine with turbo normalize and power
recovery. Inconel or TiAl turbine housings to reduce weight could solve
the installed weight issues. The slightly higher installed weight would
be offset be lower fuel tank fill due to the reduced fuel burn rate.
