I couldn't agree more! Mad Mike is one of the world's great
Mazda/Rotary Champions, saw an interview awhile back in which he
stated he'd owned 27+ rotary powered vehicles over the years! He
keeps another 4 rotor Rx-7 in Japan, called the JAPBUL. (the one in
the linked video is the MADBUL) He also has a Turbo 3 rotor (812hp
20B) Rx-8 "BADBUL" (which I've seen IRL). I don't understand why
Mazda doesn't flaunt his and other success like his by others, major
fumble on their part.

Rotaries most great benefit is easily stackable. I think if we use
better material for shaft.10 or more rotor can be stacked and still
its very small and by just common sense if we use ceramic or inconel
it can be air cooling engine. Efficiency easily go over current
gasoline engine
I think about crowed funding at kick starter or indiegogo for making
this. I have no intend about get money from it just fun job. So
people may interest in.
As we know 12 rotor rotaries size is 1.5m and it will produce over
2000hp easily. Apache choppers engine just produce 1700 hp but
extremely expensive. If we success I think we can supply this engine
on many aircraft and marine solution

There are so many great shaft material.. If you teach me I really
appreciate.

All the torque goes through the e-shaft of the last rotor over
stressing it.
Due to the required Wankel geometry that cannot be made larger.
All e-shaft sections are the same diameter.

So.. It's matter of shaft material? isn't it?
In that case there is much more great material. I recently know about
Maraging steel.
It's 6 times stronger than mild steel and and 2.4 time stronger than
chrommoly. I think this material until recently controlled by US
goverment. but now it's online. I can buy it at online. like inconel.

I think we can still use common material if we do little redesign shaft
material and geometry. but If we use material like Maraging steel. I
think we can use same rotor as Mazda. so all problem will be easier.

this is link for suitable round bar. very expensive but okay for
prototype. maybe too short diameter.
I worry I bothering others, but I hope It's not, and I'm not mechanical
engineer at all but if this material is same as paper I think we can
also shaft's problem. and if there is any other ideas please share with me.

Not material properties alone. People are already using the strongest
material available.
It is a problem of geometry.
