Hello Steve I gotta tell you this can fit any engine you can mount a
flat plate on.V8 on down to single cylinder engines.Ill send pics for
the stock Briggs/Kohler/ Generac engines, It has a 1/1.8 ratio and
weighs 8.6 lbs. Now when you order I need the expected hp , the ratio
wanted if other than 1/1.8, the shaft diameter. And I need you to make a
drawing for me.If there is a taper you can measure the thinnest part of
the hub and then the thickest part, add how long the taper is and we can
make the drive. Now about the drawing ITS EASY TO DO .... DONT WORRY
Ill send a attachment with the drives baseplate in it, just print it out
and it becomes a template for the new drive. Cut the portion for the
engine output shaft and slide the paper over it , Trace the block and
carefully mark the centers of all holes. Because this is all mounted to
the plate.... then the plate is mounted, the only thing left is to
connect to the engine , which is what we'll do. Now don't worry
if the
opening for the shaft is sloppy or has a loose fit to the shaft, because
when you bolt the plate to the block any slop is taken in by the
adjustment mechanism, making the process easy .....just make sure your
paper is where you want it to be for clearances ect ,IF THE BLOCK YOURE
USING IS LARGER THAN THE PRINTED PAPER TEMPLATE JUST GLUE IT TO A LARGER
SHEET OF CONSTRUCTION PAPER AND CONTINUE ON ,and the paper will rotate
on the shaft anyway until you pick which way you want it to sit....
either prop higher than the engine.... or lower, It will rotate 360 deg
you can get a great look at where things need to be. I did the
installation for the drive on my plane the same way and asked so many
questions the company owner decided I should get the word out about
their products. See this company... Ace engineering also makes a full
line of micro, ultrlight, part 103/ experimental, and light sport
planes/IN ENGLAND. It took me 2 years to research the world of drives
and this is the
BEST ON
THE MARKET since becoming the US rep for Ace I have convinced the
owner to stay with one low price and just write off any overages for ANY
special orders, All that means is youll get any drive (V8 included) for
the base price for the smaller Briggs models , Now a lot of companies
make drives with slotted bolt holes hoping to get it right, And those
crack... which could lead to a walk home .WE DONT USE SLOTTED HOLES...
WE DRILL ALL HOLES We even had a guy that wanted the drive for two
engines but wanted the same exact drive RATIO AND ALL ..and was cost
conscious, so we made a drive with 2 sets of bolt holes for 2 different
engines, we overlayed the bolt patterns and now he pulls one engine off
...does his swap ...now he can go fly without worrying about
rebuilding his worn engine until later ( winter), he also had us build
brake housings for his plane and he sent a email Ill try to dig up for
you , Im here 24/7 available for any questions comments gripes or groans

The company is just the right size to be great at what they do and small
enough that the company owner still signs off on every project and
believe me hes a perfectionist AAAAA type of fellow, The guy we sent
the brake housings and 2 drives to was surprised to see his parts come
in there with their own wooden box and fabric wrapping protecting the
parts, he just had to thank us, I hope this isn't too wordy for you if

No outer bearing support. This puts a high bending load on the prop
shaft and
the e-shaft. Not a good thing :) Bad engineering design. See the last jpg.
