The Mikroe $40 Mini MO ARM PCB.
The more I learn about the amazing ST ARM chip the
more I am impressed. Digital to analog converter
chips are rare and expensive. The ST ARM chip has
several DAC's built in.
These can be used to control $1 CMOS 555 injector
drivers that once set up with a pulse width will
continue to operate the injector regardless if the
computer is working or not. It simplifies the software
greatly as no PWM configuration is needed to be set up.
It makes the EFI software trivial to write.
Just send a 10 bit or 12 bit value to the DAC ANx output pin
that will provide the amount of fuel you need.
Very little processor overhead and no software bugs:) No timer interrupts.
You can think of this as a glorified 555 fuel injector system.
As long as you have power to it the CAS will keep triggering the
injectors.
I could easily get a patent on this but but I am getting
old and I would never get paid enough soon enough :) You are
not going to get a patent either because I am publishing
the idea here first :)

It will have to wait. I have three forums to give in three weeks at Sun
n Fun
and get an ignition demo ready as well as program and build my coil winder.
This is ignition system is high priority as it is a real "once in a 100
year" breakthrough.
It is also holding up testing my turbo compound 3 rotor.
