Hi Paul,

Whatever happened to Powersport?

Chris Cosman

I have no real idea.

Of course instead of selling parts and gear boxes  they tried to get
rich quick charging $30,000  for firewall forward packages when
one could buy an engine for $500 and over haul it for $3000 :)

It's my understanding the principle passed away.
IIRC, the son then tried but some momentum was lost.

Or, I could be wrong.

Actually they never  solved a harmonic problem they had and one them died in an accident. Then they called it quits. Paul did you ever see the Ric Jet 4? It hsd a RX2 rotary in it and was featured in Sport Aviation in march 1975.

Cheers Russ Ward

I think you are talking about the Old Power Sport.
Everett Hatch's accident had nothing to do with the engine.
He split S into the ground. He may have had a heart attack.
