Needless to say I got the DVD.

Here is a rendering. I am coloring some of the parts to enhance the
pictures :)

I'll take my computer to Sun N Fun and work on it there.

Hi Paul, so what do you think can we pull it off?  It is going to be a
very tight squeeze but I think we can.  My motor mounts are even a
little wider than a stock Long EZ by about 3 inches.  Anyway, if I can
pull it off it should be one fast rocket.  Thanks again for your help
and have fun in the sun!

No Problem Mike. It will fit.

Here is some old and some new ideas.

Mike and Paul,

The design of the motor mount is critical in getting things to fit in the
Long EZ.  I have been paying the price trying to fit stuff in the cowl
envelope.  My firewall is wider and I still had issues.  I talked with some
of the Canard experts and the shape of the cowl is critical for fast
efficient airframes.  Looks like you have a lump with turbo clearance.  The
area that gave me the most frustration was the starboard side as the exhaust
and intake are there.  Keep us posted.
