Mercedes turbo compound engine is dominating F1.
They just won Shanghai one two.
Makes sense as they also build the Daimler/Detroit Diesel DD15 turbo
compound truck engine. Lots of TC experience.

turbine to the
the compressor. 12 to 18 inches in the case of the MB F1 engine.
Less heat transfer from turbine to compressor.
The colder the air getting in the engine the more the horse power.
The other thing I notice from the in-car videos is Sebastian Vettle
likes an under steering
car. The new Red Bull chassis is more neutral steer and consequently his
team mate Ricardo is faster. Neutral steer is faster as there is less
scrub drag from the front
tires.
However neutral steer is harder to drive.
