Hi all ... They are variable twist rather than variable pitch so they
are not as effective as a real variable pitch prop.

What's the difference in the way these two functions are implemented?

Ivo uses a steel tube inside the blade that is rotated to twist the blade.

A variable pitch prop rotates the whole blade around it's long axis.
