Paul,
I am in the process of rebuilding my '90 13B engine for my car.  I would
like to put the engine, when completed, on an engine stand with
radiator, fan, starter, coil,  and fuel supply and run the engine for a
30 minute engine check and break in period.  What simple, easy to
construct, circuit that would allow me to do this?  What do you recommend?

No circuits use a carb :)

No easy circuits. You might find one of Tracy's used computers out there
but it is not exactly easy to tune as there is no PC computer interface.

Mega Squirt will also work but you need either an MSD CD system or a set
of my smart coils as mega squirt for the rotary does not support coil on plug
Kettering ignition as far as I know. That may have changed recently.

Investigate Mega Squirt for the rotary.

Also a stock RX7 computer will work but you need to trick it
a bit. Perry Mick has been flying for years with a stock RX7
computer. I forgot what he had to do to get it to work.
I can search back years and find out but that would take a bit
of work.

Then there is MicroTech in Australia. Neal Unger has good luck with
that outfit.

Then there is also Motec but that may cost you two or three times what
the engine is worth :) Top of the line however.

BTW the rotary does not require break in. There is no such thing
as "seating the rings".
