   Obviously the concept of this machine was not born from the mind of an aviator, but perhaps from a Navy man, like the Huge German tanks P1000 "LandKreuzter", and P1500 "Ratte"...

   To me, the size is not so impressive than the amount of dragging items (SCx) and the relatively small cumulated surface of all the propeller discs
   (The ratio of these two surfaces is directly linked to the propulsion efficiency)
   Jet propulsion for such a dragging, and thus slow machine, would also be inefficient because of this surface ratio.

   What sort of structure could stand the recoil of those huge cannons ?

   Modification Proposals :

   1/ Group the engines in clusters around a few (8 ?) gear-boxes to drive a slow and large diameter propellers. The engine clusters being totally enclosed into the wings, only the propeller shafts pointing out of the wing profile.

   2/ Replace the huge cannons by recoilless weapons (Drop Bombs, Missiles, Katyusha rocket launchers...) to be released just before firing only.


   Anyway None should Build such a tactical nonsense (too slow, too expensive, too vunerable), but perhaps would it be fun to fly a RC scale model ?
