Dear Paul:

Have you,or anyone else in the Group,examined the propeller designs of the late Paul Lipps?
I think his Ellipse propeller design,its design,and its efficient,would be a great lash-up to power a rotary powered airplane,once the preliminary performance estimates are made for its application to the airplane in question.

Contact magazine's website,and the EAA Experimenter's website have features articles on the propeller.

I think yourself,and the Group should open a discussion on its merits,and use it as a reference point, to compare its performance
versus the contemporary propeller designs powering rotary engined
already in use.
