Less chance of misfire. I would not be a bit surprised
if a p-port rotary idled smother. Also leaner mixtures should be
possible. Mazda had to go to side exhaust ports on the RX8 to deal
with misfires at idle. The misfires werecausing emissions problem in
the old 13B powered cars.

I just tested it successfully firing 12 times at 10,000 RPM.

I had to go to a secret high speed trigger. The hall effect
trigger and VR sensor was not cutting it.

days getting it ready to test it in a RX7 rotary powered race car the
next weekend.
