This is sort of like mounting a distributor on the end of the
e-shaft. Rotaries are notorious for a bit of run out on the nose end
of the e-shaft. Especially the 3 rotor. This ignition trigger
mechanism  does not care. It runs off a bearing on the end of the
e-shaft so no matter what the e-shaft does the distance of the sensor
from the magnet will always be the same.

I could easily get a patent on this but one patent per week is enough
:)

Yes.

BTW I have been busting my ass making four ignition systems and the
potting compound destroyed two by overheating. Exotherm. Ruined the
test this coming weekend.

Anybody have any suggesting for good potting compound?
