To all, Another road-block! I’m having problems finding the
previously mentioned items. Injectors; all I get from local suppliers
is that there is a waiting period with no time limit promised.
Resistors; nothing local, not even Radio Shack’s national catalog.
Also, I get conflicting info on which ones. RWS recommends 5 ohms-25
watts, however, on a Google search I find a recommendation for a 10
ohms-10 watts, who’s right? Capacitors; when I enter the numbers all
I get is questions that I can’t answer. Any recommendations on the
above items would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Frank Clementa

Check Ebay for injectors. Put in Mazda 13B injectors in the search box.
They are going for about $150 foir aset of 4.

DigiKey or Mouser for resisters.
If in doubt use 25 watts.

Paul et al,
I saw the ones on EBay, they looked used. I already have
12 used injectors, but I prefer at least re-built ones. So, I
need a source for same. As far as resistors, when I access
web-sites such as DigiKey and Mouser, all I get are
questions; what manufacturer, what type ( aluminum clad,
ceramic, single layer or multi layer, foil clad, etc.). All I want
are resistors that will do the job and last; the question is
which ones. The same holds true for capacitors. What I
need is a source and part numbers. I'm sorry to be a
problem, but I don't have the electronics skills. Again
thanks in advance.

Rock Auto has RX8 injectors.
What kind of intake manifold are you using?
Measure the injector holder dimensions and send them to me.


Ford and Mazda 2nd gen injectors are about the same form factor.
So if you know the flow needed you can figure out a  Ford part
that will work.

The digiKey web site takes a little getting used to.

Here are some 10 watt resisters that will probably work.
