Paul,
          you had cheap crank angle sensors for approx $25.  Do they fit the standard RX8??
If so where do I get some?  Neil.

They don't exactly bolt on. The bracket holding them must b e modified.

The price more than doubled in the space of 5 years. Now up to $40

Try Rock Auto in the states or Pep Boys.

They are called wheel speed sensor for ABS.
Also ebay. AKA variable reluctance sensors.

They work very well but not fast and accurate enough for my new ignition.
