By the way, you recall that interview you did on U-tube about the Mistral Engine what ever happen to them, last thing I recall they were taken over by some corp. in the middle east and that was the end of it. You happen to know what progress is being done on this engine, I am sure many of us would love to know

I don't know who owns them now if anyone. As far as I know there is no ongoing
R&D.

They did a really dumb thing.
They tried to get FAA certification on an EFI aircraft engine.

Lycoming has been trying for at least 5 years with no sign of success.

FAA hates EFI :)
