Paul,
The gearset you sent.  Can it be purchased without the small
sun gear? The one supplied had 2 or more gears on it and have decided to
not use it, rather to make the whole shaft from the flywheel to and
including the sun gear in one piece. Simple and safer without a join.  I
suspect that the saving in cost without the sun gear is negligible, but
doesn’t hurt to find out as freight is the biggest killer.  Neil.

My supplier sells it as a set. Sounds costly to make a one piece shaft.
Make sure
the tooth contour is correct.

I am having freight cost problems buying stuff from Germany. DHL was
$500 on 8 pounds.
The cost of the product was $200. What ever you do don't select DHL.

Parcel Post is the cheapest from the US to Oz,

Paul Lamar

Paul,
At least we know!  Just thinking about your ignition coils last
night.  You have the mount on the bottom which may be the wrong place.  Most
coils have the mount on the side as coils seem to be mounted either
vertically or horizontally which in both cases suits a side mount. Neil.
