Any of you EE types out there know of a simple single supply DC
inverter amp?

Here is what I am thinking. It is working but not optimized yet. I
am working on a simple hardware solution to using the ignition with
existing EFI computers controlling engines.

There are some opto isolators with integrated conditioning ckts
having logic level outputs. Both inverting and non inverting.

I am dealing with analog voltages. Linear if possible.

What's wrong with an emitter follower?

Nothing. That should work with a large resister on the base. I forgot it was inverted.
I kind of missed the bipolar  transistor era and went straight into microprocessors :)
