We were in south Florida so we visited Jean Prudhomme.

Jean is a very prolific and talented aircraft builder. He has been
working on airplanes since the late 60's. So far he as built nine.
Many Velocities.

Here are some pictures of gear box parts he intends to use on his
3/4 scale Piaggio Avanti.

Paul Lamar

Jean, I assume P-1160044 JPG is a photo of an auto transmission 7A
and a reduction housing. We are interested in the reduction housing
for a 3.i7 reduction housing. Do you have a dimensioned sketch of the
reduction housing? And can the housing be purchased separate before
machining?

Milo

Jean, Very interested in that gearbox nose to the bellhousing. Please
continue to show details as it is developed? Is it cast, and how do
you plan to use it? Can you be make that unit available? Someone
(can't remember who) made an adaptor plate for the front of the
bellhousings to mate Tracy's nose to them once upon a time-Paul
might have pictures. Can you be make that unit available?

Marc

No Marc
But I will show my progress on it and I try to use most available part from automobile or truck so
everybody can built their own with a bit of machining help.
I send you a sketch showing from a 2'' dia 4130 chromemoly steel bar the prop flange and shaft  attaché detail.
