Paul, when measuring runner length, where is the starting point for
this measurement? Is is the inside face of the rotor housing, the
start of the throttle body, or somewhere else?

Neil.

When a slide throttle is wide open it is the port to the bell mouth.
Unfortunately when a butterfly is used that modifies the tuning so it
becomes hard to say without dyno numbers.

All this is based on the LeMans engine which used a slide throttle.

I think you gave up on it too soon :)
