I have been  reading dozens of emails about the PSRU gearbox and
looked at the your attachments.

Unfortunately I having been reading these emails, I am getting
slightly confused so I would like to start a short thread to clear
the confusion.

Would I be correct in assuming the PSRU being built by some guys on
this mailing list is derived from  ORG_ROSS_DWG2.jpg drawing ?

There are altogether 16  components in that  drawing. Would I be
correct in assuming that some of the parts are available and one can
get them if they know the manufacturers part numbers ? If my
assumption is correct what are the manufacturer part numbers
corresponding to the 16 components ?

Are they also modifications to the original drawing there fore new
components are involved ?

Yes the entire planetary gear set is available from transmission
repair part wholesalers in the US. One is in southern California
called Slauson Transmissions Parts. Cost about $200 US.

Yes there are quite a few suggested modifications.

Here are some.

It is cheaper and quicker to make the housing out of thick wall
aluminium tube.

Also I am looking to build a pusher configuration PSRU therefore I
believe I am looking for reverse rotation. It is for that reason It
is unclear which slausons parts are relevant. I understand the
drawing showing the reverse rotation is achieved  by holding the
planetry pinions and driving the sun gear.

The rotation is the same. Only the prop is different.
