I can't find any information on the Torque meter piston  and Torque meter cylinder shown on the Input-Shaft5.dims.JPG
 Where do these parts come from and what do they look like.

    You use a lathe :-)

    It is a simple annular hyd cyl.  Found in all manual transmission cars in the world.
    A simple pressure  gage reads out the torque.

Is a torque meter system really needed?? Mistral engine is not providing such a device.

It is a cheap dyno. Great for checking prop efficiency and a whole bunch of other things
once you know the net HP.

Mistral did a lot of dumb things :-) Not offering a p port among them.
That would have given them a much better power to weight ratio.
I had to straighten them out on the cooling system :)
