This 650 HP turbo p-port time to climb aircraft engine certifies the
Racing Beat aluminium end and centre housings IMHO.
This engine, with turbo and gear box, is about 210 pounds plus or
minus 20.
That is a power to weight ratio of 3:1 in gas turbine country with
half the fuel burn. It would have more power than a 650 HP gas
turbine at over 20,000 feet.
The bare engine, with out the turbo or gear box, is 110 pounds
roughly.
This would make a world beater installed in a Questair Venture or
Nemesis Next aircraft at Reno in the Sport Class.
Imagine a three or four rotor version of this engine.
Mazda is sitting on a gold mine and they don't know it.
Peter G, now at SZP with aircraft it is going in.

Can someone rebuild engines to this configuration and sell to other
pilots? Many would buy.
Gordon Gao
This was built by Racing Beat.

interesting. Does it come with Lamar cooling system? How much do they
sell it for?
Gordon Gao
I am not sure. You would have to get a quote from Racing Beat.
Be sitting down :)

I would almost still bet money it would be cheaper than a 650 shp
turbine. Of course, if wrong, would not be the first time.
