Paul, would using a CO2 bottle and spray bar be
effective in cooling the time to climb heat exchangers?

I never tried that. I assume it works better
than a cold water spray. We have a ten gallon
tank and a 100 psi pump for intake
water injection and we planned to also use that for
spraying cooling water on the cross counter flow
heat exchanger.
How much CO2 would we need for one minute
and how much would it weigh? The pressure
tank sounds heavy.
