This is the same size billet coupling we use on the p-port rotary
more or less.
Some details are different having to do with the size of the Bell 47
gear box sun gear.
Mainly because it fits all Mazda rotaries :)
We are building a Teflon mould for the silicon rubber biscuits
themselves.
John Lynch, my hangar neighbour, did the solid works dwgs and has an
NC mill
that will do the Aluminium billet parts.

One question: the "John Lynch" transmission is a final drive from a
Bell
47 ????
If so, where to find all necessary parts to "copy paste" the "John
Lynch" drive.
I'm dreaming of having such one.
Thank you for you advise
Best regards

Yes
Parts for the Bell 47 gear box are sold on Ebay.

Superb job Paul
Is your system rotating clockwise (the engine and the propeller the
same way?)
What is the ratio??
And the good question: will you build some to sold them?
Would be very interested for next spring 2016, if ratio is 2.7 -2.8
and engine/propeller rotating the same way.

Yes
Clock wise engine propeller the same way.
Ratio 3:1
It is over kill for all but 3 rotor turbos and above.
The cost would be in the range of tens of thousands of US dollars.
Anybody for a 1000 HP 4 rotor turbo weighing 400 pounds less the GB
? :)
My guess on the gear box weight would be 60 pounds.
