QB64 is a very powerful BASIC for Linux.
It is a highly extended version of the old QB for DOS.
Hopefully it will run on RT Linux. I use it all the time
for evaluating equations and doing calculus type problems.

No bit banger I/O yet as far as I have found
but it can call assembly language. So some assembly
language programs may have to be written for
bit I/O, PWM and A to D.

CALL ABSOLUTE (statement) used to access Interrupts on the
computer or execute assembly type procedures.

The BBB is the Maximite for Linux with PC Keyboard, VGA display
and MicroSD support simulating a hard disk. The only thing
missing so far is a battery backed up clock and all the hardware
I/O. I am not sure about that as it may be in LinuxCNC C compiler.
