If you know of anybody into 4 wheel drive and they happen to have a
 Chrysler Rock Trac 4.1 transfer case apart I need a cell phone
 picture of just the planet carrier.

 I have tried just about everybody and every thing here in SoCal. No
 luck so far. Some of the catalogue pictures are wrong like this one.
 Apparently Chrysler uses generic part pictures and not actual part
 pictures.

 Lots of data about the older New Process 241J and the current
 NVG241OR (as used in Rubicons) which have 4:1.

 There is also a conversion kit that replaces the front half of the
 case with a 5 pinion 4:1 set

 SO that's how they do it!!!!

 EXACTLY what I was looking for.

 Now I got to go see how big it is.

 It looks perfect. It even has a prop shaft spline. Essentially double
  planetary's but lighter in weight than two separate planetary's.

 I don't see the ring gears so they must be built into the housing. No
 problem.... we will just cut away what we don't need.

Paul, does the race engine you have in mind put, for example, 10,000 rpm
in and you get 2500 rpm back out, or am I not thinking right?
I hope I am not understanding the planet set up correctly because I
certainly do not want to disappoint you, however, the details of the
website provide a warning about the engine RPM limits:

Product Details ...Because of the additional gear reduction when in
low range, engine RPMs should be kept under 2500 (remember the
planetary is turning at 4 times that rate 2,500 x 4.0 = 10,000 RPM).
Severe transfer case damage can occur if this RPM warning is not
observed. Check the oil pump screen for blockage.

Your right about the 4:1 reduction. The prop rotates at 1/4 engine RPM.

The same thing is true about the Ford only 1/3 and it does not seem to bother
it.  What they are trying to  say is the pinion gears are going faster than the
sun gear. In the case of the Allison 1000 the ratio is 2.5/1.5 or 1.66 faster.
That makes the Allison 1000 planet carrier rotate at 1/3 of the sun gear RPM
which is driven b.y the engine.

That company does not build it. They just sell it.
