A few of you are aware that Mark Steitle passed away a couple of months
back. He had a very rare form of cancer that he fought for six months.
His Lancair Super ES will be going up for sale soon with the expectation
the P-Port 20B will be removed by the next owner. I wanted to let the
group know before we placed an ad on Barnstormers. I’m helping his wife
Karen and son Matt with the aircraft and rotary engine items. If anyone
is interested in the FWF or airframe please let me know. Mark had just
started building an engine as a spare and had collected several parts.
20B shaft, thick center housing, etc. He also has parts from several 13B
engines.

Most of the time the engine is loafing.

  So sad to hear of Mark Steitle's passing.........First met Mark (and you also) at the "Rotary Roundups" in Florida
hosted by Tracy Crook.....His Lancair ES is one of the most successful of the rotary engine projects and perhaps
the most successful powered by 20B 3 rotor............Traded Emails over the many years asking advise from Mark
and even bought some rotary parts from him surplus to his needs.........Tried to get him to fly a few hundred miles
North of Austin, Texas to Oklahoma City to my airport to show off his airplane and to quiet the naysayers here who
always question my sanity for being a fan of the rotary.........He will be sorely missed by all of the Rotary group.....
