like an opinion on the matter of using mild steel instead
stainless for the "P" port tubes..........Could
the stainless
alloy be a problem.........Paul what alloy of stainless
are the tubes you used to supply and what is the
alloy of your
tubes Randy ??........

Kelly,
My welder has been chasing pinhole leaks for a while on
the PPorts.
He thinks that if the tube was mild steel and not
stainless that the pinhole leaks would go away.
I tend to agree with him, but wanted to get your input
or maybe you can see what Paul or the group thinks.

Try changing welders :-) Is he using the right rod?
We have had no problems with this. Is he TIG welding?
Mild steel would work but it could rust.
Stainless welds better than mild steel.
