Hi Paul, I thought I would pass along this topic in case it is relevant
to our group. I recently bought
a new Suzuki outboard with this technology, and it works well, so far.

I suspect the first rope pull charges a large capacitor.
That capacitor then provides the high current pulse required
by the fuel injector.
