Several people were working on  them.

This is Scott Gettings airplane.

This is probably the best job. He had a severe set back when
alcohol in the fuel destroyed a couple of wings as I recall.

Biggest problem was finding room for a cooling system.

I spent many hours trying to help doing 3D's.

The folded core solution ahead of the engine  turned out to be the best.
