This is probably the best job. He had a severe set back when alcohol
in the fuel destroyed a couple of wings as I recall.

Biggest problem was finding room for a cooling system.

I spent many hours trying to help doing 3D's.

The folded core solution ahead of the engine  turned out to be the
best.

Hi Paul,

Some of the pix are of my plane, but most are other builders.  Sandy McNab had the gasalcohol problem that ruined his wings.   Oddly the kit maker recommended one of the few epoxies that is alcohol-sensitive but never warned about gasohol.  My tanks have never been filled.

Anyway, I'm trying to reduce my workload to allow some time back on the Glass Goose.  As shown in the pics, there  is a fair amount of space in front (or perhaps on top) of the engine to accommodate 600ci of water radiator in a number of configurations.  I don't know of anyone who has run with the folded core option.

Paul I have most recently considered using your recommendation of a pair of sequential, thin (1") radiators either in front of the engine, or perhaps with a K&L wedge duct over the top, to radiators on top of the engine, with the exit through the low-pressure area in the back/top of the cowling.  Paired radiators complicate the plumbing so all this will be custom built.   The over-the-engine option would require raising the cowling, but this might allow the Rx7 or similar radiators to be mounted in the lower part of the cowling intake.

If not, then the 200ci of oil radiators have to fit in somewhere.

Paul has definitely contributed a lot of time to this issue, for which the small, Glass Goose + rotary community is very grateful!!
