Paul, I have not been their in a long time, so glad you enlightened me about the changes in the Sun'N'Fun. What a shame, is their any aspect of our nation uninfected by liberal decay? I so wanted to see the Allison PSRU with the promise of 4 Rotor builds.

Speaking of the 4 Rotor, since as I read here that the 4 Rotor Engine is so rare, has anyone done a build using two 2 Rotor engines with appropriate mods to make a functional 4 Rotor from Mazda engines?

I have never heard of it. Plenty of people build four rotors.
They use mostly stock 2 rotor parts and fashion a new four rotor e-shaft.
It is not rocket science. There is a guy on the Drift circuit using
a 4 rotor. As I recall there are a couple of Oz (Australian) outfits
that sell four rotor e-shafts.

IO have been thinking about one made from separate eccentric parts
and a simple center shaft.  This would greatly cut the cost IF it worked.

One of the best ideas I ever heard about making E-shafts is hydro
forming. That is where a hollow steel tube is put in a mold and
tremendous pressure is applied to form the lobes.  I suspect the
the tube is heated to high temperature first. I think a lot of steel
car and truck tubular frames are made that way. Stuff is made in
minutes not counting the heating time.
