I am interested in Iannetti ceramic rotor seals for my 93-95 13BREW.......I uderstand they come in one piece and two piece with the two piece giving better compression at low rpm.......I will be using them in an exp aircraft engine so am not concerned with low rpm compression...

With that said I lean toward the one piece seals and would like your opinion.....Also would like to know which of these seals were installed in the 650 hp "Time TO Climb"engine owned by Dan Grey in Santa Paula......

Thanks,
Kelly troyer

I have no idea what Jim put in the TTC engine.
What ever it was is working great. All six chambers have
identical pressures. If you get a Maximite I'll give you the
program to record the pressures.

The one piece makes sense for the rotary aircraft
engine as you must idle them above 2000 RPM.

There is a resonance problem below that. I have heard that they
will run at high RPM with out seals.

Ask Randy if he is getting my emails. I can't get in touch with him.
When does he answer his phone?
I would like to know what he is doing for gear boxes.
Rumor has it he is working with Neal.

The "time to climb" engine we developed, built, configured, and dyno-ed for Mr. Russ McFarland utilized Iannetti Gold One-Piece 2mm seals and springs.

I think the Iannetti springs are Inconel.
